How we got started:
We are Ryan and Shannon and we are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to fulfill all your pontoon rental needs here on Lake Murray. Some of you might remember us as the previous owners of the vacation rental, The Buttonbush Cottage. It was while we served as hosts that we were frequently asked by our guests about pontoon rentals. This sparked an idea for us to get involved in our own pontoon rental business. We love our lake and have always been interested in working with the lake.
A Little About US:
We have lived in Chapin since 2016. We were fortunate enough to find land and build a home on Lake Murray in 2021. Ryan works as a safety manager at a construction company full-time and Shannon is a Labor and Delivery nurse. When we are not working or delivering pontoons, we spend a lot of time on our boat all summer long. We have an nine year old, Emmersyn, who would swim in the lake morning, noon, and night if she could. Her elementary school’s mascot is the Purple Martins, which inspired the name of our business. We are currently raising another lake baby, Lindyn, who is four years old. She is pretty wild and fiercely independent. We had her out on the lake as early as four months old. When we’re not on the lake, we enjoy taking cruises, working on house projects, and rooting for our Gamecocks! We have a German Shorthaired Pointer named Jolene who also LOVES to swim in the lake.
